Collect your iKAD after your passport is ready

The iKAD is your official international-student identity card, issued once your Student Pass is endorsed. It shows your photo, passport number, nationality, institution, and pass validity, and is accepted as ID across Peninsular Malaysia.

1. 1Apply

   Your iKAD is applied for automatically by EMGS when your Student Pass is processed — the RM50 fee is part of your visa application.

2. 2Endorse

   Once your Student Pass is endorsed in your passport at the One Stop Centre, your iKAD gets printed.

3. 3Collect

   Your iKAD is usually ready about 3 weeks after you get your passport back. Collect it from the One Stop Centre (Block E, Perdanasiswa Complex).

4. 4Carry

   Carry your iKAD with you in Peninsular Malaysia — it's a recognised ID. It is NOT a travel document, so keep your passport for travel.
