Life at UMThe university runs internal shuttle buses that connect residential colleges, faculties, and key campus landmarks. These are free for UM students and run on a fixed schedule during the semester. The Touch 'n Go eWallet app also lets you pay by scanning QR codes at food stalls, shops, and vending machines. Top up your card at station machines or via the app.
Grab is the main ride-hailing app in Malaysia (similar to Uber). It's reliable, affordable, and available 24/7. You can pay with cash, card, or GrabPay wallet. Useful for late-night trips, airport runs, or when public transport doesn't reach where you need to go. Always check the fare estimate before booking — surge pricing applies during peak hours and rain.
